The RF311 Banyan is an exceptionally lightweight safety trainer designed to deliver lasting comfort, agility and dependable workplace protection. The durable, breathable and water repellent microfibre upper incorporates bio-based material content within the formulation, helping maintain lightweight performance without compromising durability. The Banyan incorporates ESD technology to channel static electricity safely to the ground, supporting the protection of sensitive electronic components in the workplace. Underfoot, the advanced sole construction combines cushioning, durability and selected bio-based material technologies. The midsole contains BLOOM® algae-derived foam as part of the material formulation, incorporating bio-based content within the midsole compound. This is combined with a rubber outsole incorporating Solum Verdura™ bio-based additive technology, supporting reduced reliance on conventional fossil-fuel derived materials. The cushioned midsole helps absorb impact and reduce fatigue throughout the working day across a variety of working environments. A lightweight fibreglass protective toecap and penetration resistant protective insert developed by Activ-Step® Footwear Components provide dependable protection against workplace hazards and underfoot injury. The EVA and rubber outsole formulation delivers excellent rebound, durability and slip resistance for reliable all-day performance.

Recycled Post Consumer Polyester Laces, Webbing and Mesh: Our recycled polyester supply chain is certified to the Global Recycled Standard.

Activ-Step® Cushion Max Footbed: Superior shock absorption properties, resulting in reduced fatigue to the wearer. Made from 73% natural rubber and 100% recycled post-consumer polyester sock-liner, certified by the USDA BioPreferred® Program.

Performance Sole: Contains a BLOOM® foam midsole, coupled with a rubber outsole, infused with Solum Verdura™, an innovative bio-based additive, reducing reliance on fossil-based chemistry.

Advanced Lightweight Protection: An fibreglass protective toecap ensures safety without added weight and the penetration resistant protective insert provides essential on-the-job safety.
