Conductive Comfort and Protection: RF002 Zinc is the ultimate in conductive safety footwear. Electrically conductive footwear should be used if it is necessary to minimise electrostatic charges in the shortest possible time. These trainers offer unparalleled protection without compromising comfort. Using specialist conductive lining materials, the RF002 Zinc also boasts a 100% non-metallic construction. The Upper is crafted with leather made by a tannery audited & certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG). Advanced protection is provided by Activ-Step® Footwear Components and include a protective fibreglass toecap, designed to withstand 200 joules of impact for ultimate toe protection. The Activ-Step® footbed is specifically created to aid the conductive capabilities of the shoes. The exclusive para-aramid anti-perforation protective midsole provides essential on-the-job safety. Conductive footwear has an electrical resistance between 0 and 0.1 megaohm (M). Certified to have near-zero electrical resistance, these trainers meet the rigorous standards of EN ISO 20344:2011 C and ASTM F2412-18 Cd. For superior comfort and shock absorption, Zinc features a dual-density EPR midsole & rubber outsole and an Activ-Step® conductive comfort footbed.
