We’re a well established business and recognise that we have an obligation to support worthy causes, be that with our range of products, capital or our own time and expertise.

In August 2019 we were approached by Pete Bisgrove, the founder of Team Chariot, a group that regularly participate in endurance activities to raise money for worthy causes.

Team Chariot aims are to encourage Military and Emergency Services and their charitable organisations by raising the charities profiles, gaining donations and passing on a message that ‘God has not forgotten you’. Events are completed wearing Rock Fall Safety Boots rather than more suitable hiking or trekking footwear to raise the groups profile and show respect for the services concerned.

Pete has spoken to the SAS, Royal Marines and other uniform services over the years about his aims. He recounts that are grateful for someone to face additional hardship on such events for their benefit.

In August 2019 Pete participated in the COPS 30 mile hike which was arranged and promoted by the COPS and organised and marshalled by the Royal Marines.

Pete hiked 30 miles across varied terrain with an 18kg rucksack whilst wearing the Rock Fall RF4500 Titanium, he says they looks like Action Man boots! At each break point/drinks station he performed 22 push ups whilst wearing his kit.
